Principia Rooms and Substances of the Next Arts
The project entitled “Principia - Rooms and Substances of the Next Arts” conceived and curated by Denis Santachiara in collaboration with the Solares Fondazione delle Arti, involves erecting a “molecular” pavilion in Piazza Duomo, split into 8 rooms – each of which represents a principium rooted in science, as a trigger for creating audio, visual architectural and industrial works of art.

The Hand of the Graphic Designer
Friday 8 April 2011 has seen the public opening of The Hand of the Graphic Designer, an exhibition organised by FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano (the Italian National Trust) and alterstudio partners. On display are a total of 367 signed drawings and sketches by 107 leading Italian and international graphic designers, which they have generously donated to FAI.

Light Focus on Milan The Lighting Designer and New Technologies
On the occasion of the Euroluce fair in Milan, the Professional Lighting Designers' Association, PLDA and the Italian Lighting Designers' Association APIL - Associazione Professionisti dell'Illuminazione, will once again be staging an international Light Focus conference. This year's conference is a structured approach to continuing education for lighting designers and lighting architects, providing best-of-practice examples of lighting design projects.
